October 2011: ICRON Technologies contributed to Industrial Engineering Software and Applications Conference

October 2011: The First Industrial Engineering Software and Applications Conference and Exhibition has been held in Izmir between September 30 and October 1. This congress was organized by The Chamber of Mechanical Engineers and supported by 19 organizations and agencies.

During the congress, 43 experience-sharing meetings, 18 academic papers, 2 interviews, 1 panel, 1 round table meeting, 12 workshops and 1 forum were held in 5 parallel halls with valued experts of industrial engineering software and applications from domestic and abroad. More than 1200 participants including managers, engineers, technical staff and students attended this congress.

ICRON Technologies was invited to attend the congress to share knowledge within an experience-sharing meeting and to provide a workshop regarding to adding value with Advanced Planning, Scheduling and Optimization solutions like ICRON. The Experience-sharing meeting took place on the first day. ICRON Technologies CEO Mr. Nejdet Pamuk presented how to value supply chain management solutions as a platform to elevate business. After this presentation, Ms. Filiz Gökten Yilmaz and Mr. Engin Ergör from Vestel Electronics presented the ICRON Sales and Operations Planning Application, the latets link of supply chain management by ICRON Technologies.

On the last day of congress, ICRON Technologies organized a workshop. In this workshop, Associated Prof. Dr. Ali Tamer Ünal, founder of ICRON Technologies,talked about the very fundamentals of planning;  With more then 20 years of experience both in academic and the industrial world, Dr. Ünal presented what should be expected from a successful plan and from a planning application by giving real life examples. This Workshop was highly appreciated by the participants and exceeds the limits of the intended capacity. ICRON Technologies is honored that it was able to participate as a knowledge provider together with our customer Vestel at this event.
